A stunning large copper station clock, restored to it’s original glory.
Gents of Leicester’s were a well renown manufacturer of electric clocks & were used in railway stations across the country and beyond in c.1940.
Salvaged from the BBC in Manchester when it unfortunately closed their doors, a superb piece of local history.
The traditional movement has been converted & fitted with a high tuque quartz movement using a battery pack for today’s functionality, still retaining the original cogs & hands.
