18″ GENTS OF LEICESTER COPPER STATION CLOCK

#1045

A stunning large copper station clock, restored to it’s original glory.

Gents of Leicester’s were a well renown manufacturer of electric clocks & were used in railway stations across the country and beyond in c.1940.

Salvaged from the BBC in Manchester when it unfortunately closed their doors, a superb piece of local history.

The traditional movement has been converted & fitted with a high tuque quartz movement  using a battery pack for today’s functionality, still retaining the original cogs & hands.
