A large 19th Century 40 drawer apothecary cabinet.
English c.1890.
A stunning example of an original set of chemist drawers/cabinets made from pitch pine, comprising of 40 drawers all with ebonised handles & brass label holders.
The drawers originally used in a pharmacy, then went on to be used in a hardware store to sell seeds.
Beautifully constructed with dovetail joints, the cabinet can be used either stacked or side by side.
