An antique large scale Pithoi pot.
Greek early 20th Century.
Beautifully presented in original condition with a fantastic patina of old lichens and moss, encasing the aged terracotta shell.
These pots have been around for centuries & were original used for the storage of all manner of harvest – grain, olives, or wine.
More modernly there used indoors as great decorative items.
